Sweetie, if you have a Yelp friend who gave this place less than 3 stars, it's time to unfriend them. Their opinion is worth nothing. And Sugar, if you don't like being called, Honey, this is not the diner for you. This place is great with some prompt, friendly, home cooked food and service.
I had a perfectly cooked breakfast and a great slice of pie. My coffee was kept full and the place is warm and decorated for the holidays. Seemed like a good stream of locals and old timers enjoying the food as well. The menu was the typical diner selections you would expect with a full special board and it looks like they serve beer as well.
Went back a 2nd time... Service still friendly, coffee still kept full, sausage patty still good. Had two different egg orders though which were both overdone, cooked to a brown bottom. (cheese omelet and scrambled eggs). I'd skip both of those next time.
They'd probably pack a few more people in if they just painted their sign and took down the plastic "restaurant open" sign that looks like it has been there since the motel went away. I mean, they're competing with a giant candy cane signed diner next door and a Bob Evans across the street. At least put a little effort into the appearance. Who knows, maybe that is intentional to keep if for those who know it is worth visiting. -

Great place to grab a quick lunch , or stop on back and enjoy dinner !!! Nice , quiet , great food and friendly people !

We had great service tonight. This is a dinner. The food is dinner food. We had crispy home fries, onion rings and french fries with our entrees. Cash only, because its a small business and those cc companies charge 3-7%, so I understand why the management asks for cash. We will go again.

Just awful. Took 35 minutes for deep fried and unflavored cheap crap. Walls still tobacco stained and not in a good way.

We look for mom & pop places wherever we go. This is a classic find - - breakfast all day - low prices - friendly people - stay way from the fast food joints! Home cooking at it's best. Never disappointed with these types of places. Locals talking about what's going on around town. Americana!
